Riot Fest Chicago 2015: Here, Just Take All My Money

Despite location issues which forced a venue change this year, Riot Fest Chicago 2015 — based on the initial lineup — could be the best value for your live music buck this upcoming Summer.

After a killer 2014 show, and following aldermanic backlash against the show’s park damage, Riot Fest is taking its talents a bit south of 290 this year (though, not all that out of the way for commuters).

If the prospect of seeing Ice Cube “and friends” perform hits from NWA’s “Str8 Outta Compton” isn’t enough to get you to travel to Douglas Park this September, maybe seeing No Doubt, Modest Mouse, Snoop, Iggy Pop, and Rodrigo Y Gabriela will be sufficient to motivate.

Still not sold on Riot Fest 2015? I’m not sure what to tell ya. Maybe a glimpse into the almost-complete 3-day lineup will be more convincing.

Tickets are on sale now — at the time of this post, 3-day GA passes are going for $170, while VIP tix will set you back $300 big ones. A $45 all-you-can-ride carnival pass is available as well.
