Facebook F8 2017 may still be over 2 months away; but, if you want to be there in person, the time to act is now. Registration is officially open: applications will only be accepted until February 21st, but not all that apply will receive tickets.
Facebook has moved F8 from its previous home in San Fran to San Jose in 2017 due to space concerns. Those unable to make the trip (or afford the $595 price tag on F8 tix) can live-stream keynotes & sessions via FB or email signup.
The social network has published an interactive preliminary schedule for F8 2017, which interestingly features several sessions on Facebook’s Camera Effects Platform, which is new & likely to be a oft-discussed topic during this year’s developer conference. Expect there to be some talk on Facebook ad analytics, particularly after the troubles the company has had over the past several months getting their own reporting nailed down.
Facebook F8 2017 hits San Jose on April 18th & 19th.
