Mark your calendars: the biggest online shopping day of the Summer returns in just two weeks.
Amazon’s Prime Day 2016 will feature over 100,000 Prime-only deals, sweepstakes, and, of course, unlimited free shipping options.
The return of Prime Day in 2016 is no surprise. Last year, Amazon’s single-day event sold more products than the retailer did on Black Friday in 2014, with “hundreds of thousands” signing up for its $99 per year subscription service. The inaugural event was conceived as a celebration of the site’s 20th anniversary.
In addition to free shipping, Prime members receive access to Prime Music and unlimited photo storage. For the time being, Amazon Prime Video is also included in the yearly subscription price (though, that may soon change).
In order to participate in Prime Day 2016, shoppers must be an Amazon Prime subscriber. You can sign up via this link at any time up to & including the day-of to be eligible.
