In the midst of one of the most brutal Winters in Chicago history, it’s nice to have a reminder that warmer days are just ahead.
The announcement today of the 2014 Pitchfork lineup is just one of those small miracles.
Pitchfork will return to Chicago’s Union Park on July 18-20. Festival headliners will include Neutral Milk Hotel, Beck, and the one & only King Kendrick Lamar. The festival will also feature the Death Grips, who up & cancelled their scheduled appearance at Lollapalooza last year at the last minute.
According to the Chicago Tribune, the 2014 Pitchfork lineup breaks down as follows:
July 18: Beck, Giorgio Moroder, Sun Kil Moon, Factory Floor, Death Grips, Haxan Cloak, Sharon Van Etten
July 19: Neutral Milk Hotel, TuneYards, Mas Ysa, Pusha T, the Range, Ka, Circulatory System, the Julie Ruin, Wild Beasts
July 20: Kendrick Lamar, Grimes, Slowdive, DIIV.
More acts will be announced as the festival draws closer. Tickets can be purchased from Ticketfly.com; they are $60 per day or $130 for a weekend pass.
