Even though, at press time, it is currently 4 whole degrees in Chicago — the beginning of festival season is, realistically, not all that far off. Given the current bitterness of Chicago’s weather, obviously we’re a little ways from outdoor live music in this city; however, that doesn’t mean the rest of the US is in the same boat.
First up in 2015: Coachella, the two-weekend rumpus out in Indio, CA, that kicks-off on Friday, April 10th. The show that featured the return of Outkast last year (who later rocked Lollapalooza) will be headlined by AC/DC, Jack White, and Drake this year.
A few bright spots on the Coachella 2015 lineup include Tyler, The Creator, Florence & The Machine, Hozier, Action Bronson, and a duo set featuring the Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon & Ghostface.
Unfortunately, if you’re still interested despite (or, perhaps because of?) the lineup, tickets were gone as soon as they went on sale this Wednesday (though I’m sure you can find them on Craigslist).
The entire anticipated setlist for Coachella 2015 is below.
