Football season is nearly here. And, quite frankly, this may be one of the most exciting for Chicagoans since 1985.
With Brandon Marshall predicting possible MVP nods for Jay Cutler and a sharply-improved defense (including the addition of Jared Allen and rookie CB Kyle Fuller), this indeed could be one of the best years in Chicago since the ’06-’07 Super Bowl run. While I’m far too biased to make any sort of predictions when it comes to my teams (Bears, Blackhawks, Bulls, and White Sox), I will say that I cannot imagine anything less than a Wild Card berth for the Bears this year, to be as conservative as possible.
Highlights of the 2014 Chicago Bears schedule include a Thanksgiving Day game at Detroit, 2 Monday night & 2 Sunday night games, and a Thursday game in December vs the Cowboys. We’ll get a good amount of football in before the bye week, which is slated for November 2nd.
