Amazon Prime is Now Offering Unlimited Photo Storage

Amazon Prime photo storage

If you’re like me, you’ve already taken advantage of Amazon Prime for free shipping & their streaming media, including the ‘made for Prime’ show Transparent (which I reviewed just recently). Now, according to a PR release on Business Wire, Amazon Prime subscribers will now be able to take advantage of the cloud, at no cost, to store an unlimited number of photos.

Sweeeeeet. And just in time for the holidays…

Prime members are now able to upload photos direct from Amazon’s own devices, including the Fire phone— as well as iOS, Android, Mac, & Windows devices. Photos stored on the Amazon cloud are viewable from the company’s own Fire TV, PS3 & PS4, and select LG & Samsung smart TVs.

The company says that your photos will be stored in the original full resolution, so you don’t need to worry about reducing quality by uploading them.

If you’re already an Amazon Prime subscriber (or would like to join for free), Amazon Prime photo storage can be accessed here.
