Sick of standing in long lines at the Apple Store, waiting for some Genius to sneer at you while diagnosing some obscure issue on your Macbook Pro? Well, now you can get Apple support on Twitter.
Launched just today, and already mentioned on the company’s official support page, @AppleSupport on Twitter has nearly 100k followers after 13 hours. Their response time varies so far, but they’ve been tweeting at a rate of 2-3 times/minute; though, we’ll have to see just how long that kind of dedication lasts.

Anyone with an account can request assistance from Apple Support on Twitter by just “@” mentioning the handle, though most responses thus far have been taken into a Direct Message. At the very least, it doesn’t appear that the Apple Support account is just sending customers a support phone number to call—opting, instead, to trying to resolve issues directly online.
